Dr. Scrivner devoted his life’s work to promoting the health of others and was committed to improving the quality of life for all of the citizens of this county. He set an example of how the community, health professionals, and government must work together for the public’s health.

The non-profit Scrivner Public Health Foundation holds 2 fund-raising events each year, a Spring Trivia Night ​and a Fall golf tournament. Details on how you can support those events can be found on this website, and monetary donations can be made any time of year. See our Contact info below.

High School Senior Scholarship Application

The Dr. Willard C. Scrivner Public Health Foundation Scholarship is open to any graduating high school senior that is a resident of St. Clair County who will be attending an accredited institution. This includes a junior college or four-year university. Under the guidelines of the program, selection of scholarship recipients will be based upon the judging criteria. DEADLINE 4 PM ON 4/14/2023

Dr. Jan Attala Allen Public Health Nursing Scholarship

The Dr. Allen Public Health Nursing Scholarship is open to any professional nurse pursuing an advanced degree in nursing. Under the guidelines of the program, selection of a scholarship recipient will be based upon the judging criteria. DEADLINE 4 PM ON 4/14/2023

Carolyn Chapman Distinguished Service Award (DSA)

The Board of Directors of the Willard C. Scrivner Public Health Foundation is pleased to invite nominations for the Carolyn Chapman Distinguished Service Award (DSA).
The DSA recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to public health improvement in any community in St. Clair County. Nominees need not live in St. Clair County, but nominations should be based upon their contributions to the county or region. DEADLINE 4 PM ON 4/14/2023.
